La Fundació i2cat, Fira de Barcelona i Tic Salut Social han desenvolupat un sistema per traçar els moviments dels assistents en grans esdeveniments en espais tancats, com fires o concerts, i localitzar els contactes estrets en cas de positiu per Covid-19. Per això, s’aplica l’Ultra Wideband, una tecnologia que permet “moltíssima precisió” dels moviments dels assistents i que cada deu segons n’indiqui la posició exacta, segons ha explicat el director de la funcació i2Cat, Josep Paradells, en una presentació a l’estand de Mobile World Capital a MWC. Cada assistent haurà de portar un ‘tag’ –els darrers models de telèfon mòbil de gamma alta ja el duen incorporat– que enviarà senyal a unes antenes repartides pel recinte.
